2. Permitted Use

WayToVideo grants you a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, and royalty-free license to use the web application for creating, trimming, editing, and rendering video, audio, and visual projects.

• Personal & Commercial Use: You may use WayToVideo to create videos for your personal social media, educational content, or commercial business marketing without paying licensing fees.
• No Account Required: Access to our editing studio does not require creating an account or providing financial credentials.

3. User Responsibilities & Conduct

When using WayToVideo, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or possess all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to all video footage, audio tracks, images, text, and media you import into the Service.
• You will not use the Service to generate or edit content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, promoting illegal violence, infringing on intellectual property, or violating applicable local or international laws.
• You will not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disable security checks, or disrupt the normal operation of our web infrastructure or third-party ad networks.

4. Intellectual Property & Ownership

Your Content: WayToVideo claims no ownership, copyright, or intellectual property rights over any media files, clips, or finalized videos you create or export with the Service. All rights remain exclusively yours.

Our Platform: The WayToVideo web application, codebase, user interface design, logos, graphics, and branding are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

5. Service Limitations & Disclaimers ("AS IS")

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

• Browser Compatibility: Video decoding and rendering performance relies on your device hardware, operating system, and web browser capabilities (such as Web Audio API and MediaRecorder support). We cannot guarantee identical performance across all hardware configurations.
• Data Preservation: Because project timeline data is stored locally in your browser storage (IndexedDB), clearing your browser cache or switching devices will reset unsaved project states. Users are strongly advised to export and download completed projects promptly.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WAYTOVIDEO AND ITS OPERATORS, DIRECTORS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, HARDWARE CRASHES, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
